Because of new features in this version of T-Minus Ten, the format of tasks has changed. Your tasks will automatically be updated to the new format. This new format is NOT recognizable by older versions of T-Minus Ten. Therefore, after you use version 2.1, you will not be able to use your tasks with older versions of T-Minus Ten UNLESS you make a backup copy of your old tasks. Fortunately, T-Minus Ten will do this for you automatically. When you run version 2.1 the first time, the Installation window will include a check box labeled "Make a backup of my tasks". Make sure this box is checked if you want a backup made. The backup will be made in your Preferences folder. It will be a folder named "T-Minus Ten Data copy"

SCHEDULING CHANGES
To support new and future scheduling options, a couple of things have changed in the way you setup a schedule.
There is a new Start Time field. It specifies the first time the task should run.
The time line field for specifying when to run the task is now optional. The task will always run at the time specified in the Start Time field. If you need to run the task more than one time during a day, then check the "additional times" box and make you selections.
And for clarification, the Start Date field indicates the first date that your schedule goes into effect. Depending on the frequency options you select, your task may NOT run on the start date. For example, if you specify 6 February 1999 (a Saturday) in the start date field, but then specify a weekly schedule that runs on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, your task will first run on Monday, 8 February 1999.
ACTIVITY LOG CHANGES
The option for selecting what kinds of tasks to keep in the activity is no longer in the preferences panel. Instead, each task now includes a "Record task activity in log" in the task setup window.
Each task now has its own activity log in the task's setup window.
